Standard System and Solutions for Intelligent Equipment in China’s Express Delivery Industry

Currently, the standard system for intelligent equipment in the express delivery industry remains imperfect. The production and application of intelligent equipment lack standardized guidance, and the equipment fails to achieve interconnection, which severely restricts the innovative development of the industry. This article meticulously analyzes 113 standard documents related to express delivery of intelligent equipment one by one. It classifies the historical evolution process of the standards for intelligent equipment in China’s express delivery industry into three phases: infancy, exploration, and development. Through in-depth analysis of the diverse changes in functions, performance, reliability, safety, compatibility, services, and interfaces in each phase, and in combination with the current situation and existing issues of the express delivery industry, suggestions for promoting the construction and implementation of the standard system for intelligent equipment in the express delivery industry are proposed, thereby contributing to the transformation, upgrading, quality improvement, and efficiency enhancement of China’s express delivery industry.
