This study unveils complex, phylogenetically distinct, and temporally structured bacterial communities possessing algal morphogenesis-inducing capacities during early developmental stages of <i>Porphyra</i> spp., highlighting the potential of microbiome-based interventions for sustainable growth of marine algae in aquaculture.
