What do we say when we say "God": a foundation for the Ophidian religious grammar

This paper is aimed at describing the philosophical and theoretical nature of fictional nouns, especially considering the analysis proposed by the philosophical theories of language during the XX century, in the context of a broader analysis of the name “God” within the context of the ophidian practice. Given an introduction on the main linguistic theories on fictional contexts and empty names, the paper suggests a new semantics of God through the adoption of the main elements previously proposed by philosophers as E. Paganini, S. Kripke, K.L. Walton.
