System performance, monitoring and impact assessment r.2.0 (Deliverable D7.12)

Deliverable D7.11 System performance, monitoring and impact assessment (r.1.0) established the conceptual and methodological foundation for monitoring system performance and assessing the overall impact of the OCEAN ICE data management workflow. It introduced a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) designed to measure the quality, timeliness, FAIRness and scientific uptake of the data produced within the project. Building on that groundwork, this second version provides the first quantitative evaluation of those indicators, reflecting the operational status of the data pipeline and the extent to which OCEAN ICE is achieving its data management objectives. During the reporting period November 2024 – December 2025, datasets were ingested, processed, documented and distributed through the OCEAN ICE infrastructure and relevant European and international repositories. The analysis presented here combines performance metrics, FAIR assessments, usage statistics and system monitoring data, offering a first evidence-based picture of how OCEAN ICE data contribute to the broader scientific and policy landscape.
