MAED: Manufacturing Base Year Reconstruction Hands On (Basic)

The following document provides a step by step methodology for recreating the base year in the Manufacturing sector in MAED. This Hands-On does not include the Steel and Feedstock function of MAED. Refer to the 'MAED: Manufacturing Base Year Reconstruction Workflow (Advanced)' Hands-On for details on how to do this. This Hands-On uses data derived from the UN Energy Balances and UNIDO's data explorer, however, other data sources can be used where appropriate (it is recommended to use country-specific sources such as Ministry of Energy statistics, national statistics office, etc.). Errors found in v4 have been corrected in v5.
