Abstract

These findings indicate that the SLA of at least some pigs will not exhibit cross-reactivity with anti-Bw4 and anti-Bw6 antibodies. Incorporating detailed, epitope-level histocompatibility testing may allow these highly sensitized patients, access to xenotransplantation.
