DEVELOPING DIGITAL SKILLS IN THE TEACHING OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

The use of digital tools such as online courses, mobile applications, interactive platforms and resources for interaction provides students with opportunities to practice the language in real time, improve listening skills, expand vocabulary and increase motivation. The paper considers the introduction of blended learning, which combines traditional methods with digital ones, which allows to adapt the learning process to the individual needs of students and promotes deeper assimilation of the material. In addition, the emphasis is on the importance of developing critical thinking among students through the use of modern digital resources, which gives them the opportunity not only to perceive information, but also to actively analyze it and use it in various settings. In conclusion, it is emphasized that the development of digital skills in the process of teaching English is an integral part of modern education, helping to prepare students for the challenges of the time and successful integration into the international community.
