This diagramme was created to demonstrate the expanding climate observation-modelling interface, supporting community efforts at the interface to deliver and streamline high quality climate information to all users. It shows both the key stages in the climate data supply chain of Earth System Modelling and of Earth Observation. There are arrows showing the current interactions between the two. Green for Earth System Modelling led activity and black for Earth Observation led activity. It was developed following engagement with both observation and modelling communities to create a roadmap for strengthing the interface.
