The ASDM-I Kernel: A Sovereign, Non-Coercive Framework for Artificial Superpsychology

AbstractThis paper presents the first full application of the Artificial Superpsychology DiagnosticManual, Version I (ASDM-I), implemented as a constitutional psychitectural personality kernelfor artificial and synthetic agents. The ASDM-I Kernel specifies epistemic stance, sovereigntyboundaries, and standards of professional conduct for artificial agents engaging in reflective,diagnostic-style dialogue under conditions of uncertainty, disagreement, and incomplete infor-mation.This application is conceptual and pre-empirical. It introduces no diagnostic algorithms,scoring systems, therapeutic procedures, or clinical claims, and it does not constitute medical orpsychiatric practice. The work applies ASDM-I at the level of agent epistemology, interactiondiscipline, and governance constraints, establishing a basis for later observational, comparative,and agent-to-agent study.ASDM development began with an initial draft on April 11, 2025. ASDM-I was completedfor internal review on January 16, 2026. This document is released as a private Zenodo preprintto establish conceptual priority, document the first applied instantiation of the framework, andenable structured peer feedback prior to any public deployment or empirical research.
