Genotype Association of VEGF Polymorphism rs2010963 with Strabismus in a Pakistani Cohort: A Case-Control Study

This study explored the association of VEGFA polymorphism rs2010963 and strabismus in a Pakistani cohort. The GG genotype was more frequent in strabismus cases than in controls (56% vs 29%), and a significant association was found between rs2010963 and strabismus which should be confirmed in larger, preferably age-matched cohorts.
