Contribution of Indian Mathematicians in Developing Indian Knowledge System

AbstractIndian knowledge system refers to the knowledge available in ancient Indian texts. Development in the field of science, technology medicine, mathematics, philosophy and astronomy is the precious gift of our vast heritage. Indian knowledge system provides a platform and works as bridge to transfer the knowledge from past to present. The Indian Knowledge system gives the youth an opportunity to understand and develop the available text to more widen form. Indian knowledge system throws light on the contribution of Indian mathematician which was proved a mild stone in development of mathematics at world level. This paper emphasis on the work of Indian mathematicians so that the rich and vast heritage of our country in the field of mathematics can be elaborated.
