Abstract Introduction The causes of primary female anorgasmia are multifactorial. When the WHO, in 01/1998, included addressing patients’ spirituality in its definition of health, publications increased exponentially. The PubMed platform showed: with the keyword spirituality on 05/11/2025, 30 227 articles, and from 01/01/1998 to 05/11/2025, 28 034; with female anorgasmia, 187; and female anorgasmia and spirituality, 1. Spirituality is inherent to human beings, to their capacity to understand and contact their spiritual nature, know themselves, achieve inner change, and harmonize with others. Objective To report the transdisciplinary experience, with approach on spirituality, in the treatment of primary female anorgasmia. Subject and Method A 47-year-old woman, married, school supervisor. She had an insecure, controlling, and dominating personality. She presented with anhedonia, negative self-image, poor body awareness, and considered sex sinful and dirty. She complained about her husband’s emotional weakness and sexual immaturity. Treated from 11/2024 to 04/2025. The physiotherapeutic treatment was: anamnesis, physical evaluation, sexuality and spirituality questionnaires; exercises for pelvic floor muscles, body awareness, self-image; explanation of human sexual response. The psychotherapeutic treatment was: Positive Discipline program, psychoeducation, and identification of religious beliefs that blocked sexual activity. Results As preliminary qualitative results: she achieved more pleasure and lightness in life; developed corporeality, knowledge of oneself and others. She stopped judging her husband; transformed her blocking religious beliefs into liberating ones; achieved significant improvement in her sexual act. Conclusions The transdisciplinary approach with focus on spirituality proved to be efficient towards the achievement of orgasm. Scientific studies are needed for more findings on the effectiveness of this method. Financing No conflict.
