The integrated benthic silicate flux in the Baltic Sea suggests a major land-derived reactive silicon source

Data on benthic fluxes of dissolved silicate (DSi) from the Baltic Sea. The dataset contains 305 individual fluxes measured in situ with three types of benthic chamber landers and ex situ using lab sediment incubations at 43 stations over 20 years, and the data cover most of the Baltic Sea sub-basins. The dataset further contains information about bottom-water salinity, temperature and dissolved oxygen (O2) concentrations.
