The Influence of Activated Water on the Yield and Safety on Potato Tubers in Western Siberia

Three-year field tests of pre-planting treatment of potato tubers with electrochemically activated water were carried out. The maximum increase in the total tuber yield was obtained when using catholyte. Additional processing of vegetative potato plants increased the yield by 30%. The bactericidal effect of anolyte on potato tubers during winter storage was revealed. In the variant with the Lugovskoy variety, they were 8% less affected by dry rot, and were not at all affected by wet rot (in the control - 14%). The overall incidence decreased by 20%. Activated water for pre-planting treatment of potato tubers and before planting them is an effective and environmentally friendly method of increasing yield and product quality.
