The state is an important participant in the system of economic relations, because it has the most valuable prospects for the formation of suitable prerequisites for doing business. The effectiveness of state economic policy can affect the creation of stable legislative prerequisites, which are important for stimulating business development. Business, due to its participation in the process of forming a competitive center, is able to stimulate the regional development of the economy with proper resource potential and favorable conditions. Successful business activities contribute to ensuring budget revenues, filling the market with products, creating new jobs, and increasing employment and reducing unemployment. An important component of business development and stimulation of economic growth is the development and implementation of state programs for business relocation and adaptation, which are becoming increasingly important in the context of the destabilization of the economic situation in the country. In the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war, such programs should be considered as the most important tool for supporting business (especially small and medium-sized enterprises). However, in the context of an endless lack of financial resources, the issue of effective use of state budget resources aimed at financing the implementation of such programs plays an important role. The purpose of the work is to study the existing state programs for business relocation and adaptation, to identify the main advantages and disadvantages in order to reveal promising areas for improving their efficiency in the post-war period in Ukraine. In the process of writing this work, the following methods were used: comparative analysis (in the study of the main indicators of state programs of business relocation and adaptation), graphical method (for visualization of the results obtained), method of generalization, analysis and synthesis, deduction and induction, system analysis (for the study of existing state programs of business relocation and adaptation); grouping (to determine the main advantages and disadvantages of existing state programs for business relocation and adaptation). The theoretical significance of the results obtained lies in the formation of a holistic mechanism of state assistance to business development during the crisis, which can be used by other states that may face similar threats in the future.
