The Influence of Pre-Sowing Treatment of Vegetable Seeds With Activated Water on Yield

The chapter presents the main approaches to the introduction of environmentally friendly stimulants for the growth and development of cultivated plants into production. The purpose of the study. Identification of opportunities to increase the yield of vegetable crops through the use of effective, environmentally friendly and affordable growth and development stimulants. The object of the study is vegetable crops (cucumbers and tomatoes) grown in open and protected ground. The chapter describes the successful experience of industrial testing of water acti-vated by various methods. The high efficiency of pre-sowing seed treatment with a mixture of catho-lyte and anolyte is shown. The yield of tomatoes in protected soil increased by 44% and cucumber by 33%, while the quality of the products met the appropriate requirements.
