Political behaviors of societies in the General Election have been explained using sociological, psychological and rational voting approach. However, the three approaches mingle with each other in various General Election levels, therefore they complicates the mapping of election voters and the analysis to determine the best step in improving political participation and procedural democracy quality. This analysis offers an approach alternative for the voters’ behavior in voting during the General Election with a space and time perspective that affects their political selection. The research utilzied a method with literature-based analysis exploratory qualitative approach by analyzing various relevant articles and books with voters’ behaviors, which was furthermore analyzed and proposed with the proposition of space and time dimension in voters’ behavior. The research result indicates that voters’ behavior is determined by the voters’ independence both as as a political and human right. The voters’ independence is determined by the space and time awareness so they are free from sociological intimidation, psychological bond and pragmatism mobilization on current interest.
