Abstract

The abrasive finishing of refractory tungsten alloys is considered, including the machining of single crystals. The influence of the tool characteristics and the grinding conditions on the productivity and the final surface quality is determined. The reasons for intense cracking and the range of defect-free machining conditions are established.
