Preparation of conductive inks and memristive switching effect in graphene-like metal-carbon framework

Abstract Hybrid 2D materials like metal-doped graphene can have very unusual electronic characteristics that make them highly attractive for microelectronics, neuromorphic technology, sensorics and spintronics. The synthesis of such materials is an interesting challenge. Another challenge is the processability—specifically, the fabrication of conductive structures. In the present work we report the synthesis and characterization of a graphene-like material strongly doped with copper and nitrogen, and the preparation of conductive inks. We also make electrical measurements and show that this material exhibits a memristive switching effect.
