Review of the Production and Economic Activities of the Tire Industry Enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan

The tire industry complex of the Republic of Tatarstan is one of the largest in the Russian Federation and continues to expand due to favourable market conditions, the strategic interest of PJSC Tatneft, and governmental industrial support measures. The structure of the tire industry complex is represented by two business areas—domestic (within the republic) and external (outside the republic). This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the production and economic activities of enterprises comprising Tatarstan’s tire complex, analyses their organisational structure, production capacities, investment programmes, and international expansion, as well as assesses competitive advantages and market positioning in current geopolitical and economic conditions.
