Description of two new Latoia Guérin-Méneville, 1844 (Lepidoptera, Limacodidae) from Africa

Two new species of Latoia Guérin-Méneville, 1844, Latoia kakamegae sp. nov. and Latoia epsteini sp. nov., are described here from Africa. The new species are distinguished by comparing them with the most similar related species, Latoia nana Holland, 1893, and Miresa livida West, 1940. The latter is transferred from Miresa to Latoia (comb. nov.) based on appearance and genitalia, and its female is described for the first time. Latoia nana is recorded for the first time from Liberia, the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo; and L. livida is recorded for the first time from Uganda. Adults, their genitalia, and distribution maps are illustrated, including the previously unknown female of L. livida.
