Influence of the age of chicken of the parental farm of the Dekalb white cross on the quality of the bred youth

The study focuses on the effect of the age of the parent flock chickens of the Dekalb White cross on the results of incubation (898952 eggs) and the quality of day-old chicks (343030 heads) obtained from chickens aged 26 to 60 weeks. It was found that the hatching rate, the fertility rate, and the fertilization rate of eggs have a non-linear relationship with the age of the parent flock chickens. Low incubation results were obtained from eggs of very young (26-29 weeks) and aging (after 52 weeks) birds. The results of the study showed that the quality of young birds (live weight, yield of conditionally healthy chicks, and number of business hens) had a curvilinear relationship with the age of the parent flock. The lowest quality indicators were observed in dayold chicks from hens aged 26 weeks and 52 weeks and older.
