Guidelines for the Co-Creation of Intercultural Board Games

In this repository, we share in open access, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), the book entitled "Guidelines for the Co-Creation of Intercultural Board Games". This book has been saved in a PDF/A-compliant format. The book was developed within the framework of the KidLe Project – “Developing Intercultural Board Games as Pedagogical Tools for the Inclusion of Children with a Migrant Background”, funded by the Agência Nacional para a Gestão do Programa Erasmus+ Educação e Formação (Project Number: 2023-1-PT01-KA220-SCH-000154686). It offers a set of practical recommendations to guide the participatory development of intercultural board games for early childhood education, with a focus on promoting intercultural awareness, communication, social competence, and inclusive practices. It is intended to support teachers/educators, parents/caregivers, researchers, and other pedagogical actors by presenting a structured yet adaptable framework, complemented by illustrative examples drawn from co-creation processes carried out across partner countries involved in the KidLe project.
