The Impact of Digitalization on the Performance of Public Institutions: An Integrated Analysis from the Perspective of Public Administration, Financial-Accounting and Human Resource Management

The digitalization of public administration is a central element of the modernization of state institutions, with a direct impact on administrative efficiency, financial resource management and the development of managerial skills. This study analyzes the effects of digital transformation in public institutions in Dolj County, based on a sample of 120 people with management positions. By applying statistical methods such as correlation, simple and multiple linear regression and t-test, the results demonstrate a significant positive relationship between the level of digitalization, the efficiency of administrative processes, the reduction of financial and accounting errors and the increase in managerial performance. The conclusions highlight the fact that the success of digitalization depends not only on technology, but also on the investment in professional training and organizational support provided to employees. The study contributes to the specialized literature through an integrated approach to digitalization, with relevant implications for public policies in Romania.
