Abstract

Examines the characteristics of household savings behavior in Russia. The concepts of "savings" and "household savings behavior" are introduced. The authors examine the factors that influence household savings behavior in the financial market, identify its characteristics and patterns in Russia, and define the underlying problem (insufficient diversification of household resources in Russia) and potential solutions.
