Research on the wear mechanism of linear servo bearings for unmanned aerial vehicles under cryogenic conditions

Linear servo motors are the core equipment that ensures the safe and stable flight of unmanned aerial vehicles. During the flight of the unmanned aircraft, the servo motor not only has to withstand the strong vibration and impact from the aircraft itself, but also needs to adapt to the extremely cryogenic conditions. The key transmission components of the servo motor, namely the bearings, are prone to wear and loss of stability, resulting in a decrease in their performance and service life. Therefore, this paper aims to conduct research on the instability mechanism of the servo motor bearings of unmanned aerial vehicles. By developing a bearing simulation testing machine and conducting simulation tests of the bearings under actual working conditions, the mechanism of bearing wear-induced instability is revealed. This research provides theoretical and technical support for further improving the performance of the bearings and enhancing the reliability of unmanned aerial vehicles.
