A global dataset of groundwater stable isotope data and noble gas-based paleotemperatures over the last deglaciation, alongside modern isotope-temperature records from European meteorological stations

This dataset consists of several files. "Summary_WSI_NGT.xlsx" summarises correlation coefficients between water stable isotopes (WSI) and temperature for all fossil groundwater sites. "Monthly.xlsx" and "Interannual.xlsx" compile water stable isotope and temperature data from 94 meteorological stations, obtained from the WISER (Water Isotope System for Data Analysis, Visualization, and Electronic Retrieval) portal of the Global Network of Isotopes in Precipitation (GNIP), managed by the International Atomic Energy Agency and the World Meteorological Organization. The coordinates of each meteorological station used here are reported on the "Summary" sheets of the "Monthly.xlsx" and "Interannual.xlsx".
