Neoadjuvant therapy for patients with nonsmall cell lung cancer: Not as easy in the real world

Real‐world outcomes for patients with nonsmall cell lung cancer who receive neoadjuvant therapy are similar to the outcomes of those who received treatment on neoadjuvant and perioperative nonsmall cell lung cancer trials. Careful patient selection and presurgical evaluation is important for ensuring patients are able to complete neoadjuvant therapy and undergo surgery.
