The tool allows the calculation of picking performance based on the calculation methods from the book “Kommissionierung - Materialflusssysteme 2 Planung und Berechnung der Kommissionierung in der Logistik”. (Source: ISBN-10: 3540296220 / ISBN-13: 978-3540296225) The focus of the tool is on calculating the Person-to-Goods system. Calculation steps such as Aisle Path, Cross Aisle Path, Base Path, Path Distance, Path Time, Processing Time, Order-Picking Time and Order-Picking Performance can be calculated. In addition, calculations for the Goods-to-Person-system and exercises (Übung) for the “Kommissioniersysteme” module of the Chair of Material Handling and Warehousing at TU Dortmund University (Germany) are possible. In addition, all calculation steps of the Person-to-Goods principle can be analyzed by using functions such as Parameter Scaling, Comparison Strategies or Top-Down Calculation.
