Scalable Microwave Photonic Filters with a 100 GHz Free Spectral Range based on an Electro-optic Optical Frequency Comb

In this paper, we experimentally demonstrate a microwave photonic filter operating in the W-band. The proposed architecture achieved a maximum filter center frequency of 101.5 GHz with a 3 dB bandwidth of 5.65 GHz. Our approach successfully implemented reconfigurable filtering in this frequency regime, highlighting the scalability that surpass conventional electronic constraints. These results offer significant potential for effectively addressing the evolving requirements of next generation radio system.
