Turkish General Social Survey (TGSS) 2024: Dataset

Turkish General Social Survey (TGSS) 2024 is a nationally representative survey designed to examine the social, cultural, economic, and political structure of Türkiye. The survey covers a wide range of thematic areas, including education, family dynamics, religious beliefs, political attitudes and voting behavior, environmental concerns, health and well-being, social relationships, identity, work life, and leisure activities. The TGSS 2024 wave was conducted using a probabilistic multi-stage stratified cluster sampling design. Data were collected through Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) and Computer-Assisted Self-Interviewing (CASI) methods between 17 May and 2 June 2024 with a nationally representative sample of 2,615 individuals aged 18 and above residing in Türkiye. The dataset provides anonymized microdata and an accompanying codebook for academic research, policy analysis, and scientific purposes. Users are required to cite the dataset appropriately when using the data.
