LDCT health screening in an unselected Thai population detected a meaningful burden of early-stage lung cancer. The findings support age-based screening beginning at 55 years, highlighting the potential role of chronic inflammation and environmental injury, such as PM_2.5 exposure and prior tuberculosis.
