CT data from a miniaturised direct shear test on partially saturated sand

This dataset contains a series of X-ray computed tomography (CT) data from a minaturised direct shear test on partially saturated sand. After each displacement-controlled shear step, a 3D tomography was acquired in order to study the impact of shearing on the capillary state inside of the soil specimen. The dataset contains the temporal series of CT images together with the macroscopic results of the shear test, i. e., measurements of shear force vs. shear displacement. The dataset is referred to in different publications that will be added to this repository entry.
