This document outlines the content of the Innovation Prototyping Lab (IPL) held at the Infobip Campus, Zagreb, Croatia, 1–3 October 2025. Delivered in collaboration between LUMEN and GRAPHIA, two EU-funded projects, the IPL was the first of three planned to take place in different locations across the EU and throughout the sister projects duration of three years (2025–2027). Infobip, a European technology unicorn founded in Croatia with over 75 offices worldwide to date, was not only the host for the IPL – their staff also took part by presenting their operation through a series of presentations and workshops. Infobip’s dual role as both the location host and active participant in the IPL contributed with an invaluable dialogue and exchange between industry and academia, providing examples of their practices and experiences throughout the IPL showing what is possible but also providing food for thought in terms of what could be done in the future. The IPL produced tangible design artefacts (mock-ups, sketches, ontology drafts, and concept matrices) and consolidated a shared framework for ongoing collaboration between LUMEN and GRAPHIA. These outputs will inform: The LUMEN Sustainability Roadmap (WP5). The GRAPHIA Ontology and Interface Development (WP2). The EOSC Innovation Centre Design Framework (WP6). The Labs also strengthened ties with industry partners and clarified future opportunities for experimental deployment and joint dissemination. Follow-up sessions are planned for spring 2026 to assess prototype integration and governance implementation. Funded by the European Union.
