PHAA System: Sonic Identity and Harmonic Realignment

This theoretical paper proposes a novel conceptual framework integrating shamanic sound traditions with contemporary acoustic science through the development of the PHAA System (Personal Harmonic Auto Alignment). The study presents a position paper that synthesizes existing research from neuroscience, acoustic engineering, and ethnomusicology to articulate the theoretical foundations of individualized sonic identity. The research explores the concept of individual sonic identity, the principle of personal harmonic matrix, and the importance of knowing one’s fundamental frequency as a key to restoring vibrational equilibrium. Through a process of interdisciplinary synthesis and theory-building, this work develops a theoretical framework that bridges ancestral wisdom with technological innovation. The theoretical foundation derives from experiential research, including ceremonies with a Sioux medicine man at the sacred mountain of Bear Butte, integrated with contemporary scientific understanding. This position paper contributes to the emerging field of personalized sound therapy by proposing a theoretical model for individual vibrational signatures and their potential therapeutic applications.
