eDNAqua-Plan: Biobank and collection questionnaire results

This document presents the findings of a technical survey assessing the digital maturity and interoperability readiness of European Biobanks and Culture Collections within the eDNAqua-Plan ecosystem. It evaluates the current capacity of these infrastructures to link physical specimens (vouchers and strains) with derived molecular data, analyzing workflows from sample preservation to data publication. The document serves as a strategic roadmap for harmonizing aquatic biobanking operations, ensuring that physical biodiversity resources are Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR) for genomic research.
