Matchmaker is a MATLAB program used to visualize, match, and analyze ice-core data or other paleoclimatic archives. This 2.0 release of Matchmaker is a general update to the original 2008 version (Rasmussen et al., 2008, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.quascirev.2007.01.016) which improves the general functionality and user experience. Improvements include e.g. : Improved behavior of match point adding/removing undo function Savefig function Reorganization of interface buttons Improved visualization and numbering of match point bars Backup functionality Secondary match set editing Color setting The updates were completed on an ongoing basis between 2019 and 2026.
