Exploring physics and Welsh identity: using Facebook and Google Maps to make links

Abstract Resources are presented that highlight the role of Wales and Welsh people in the history of the development of physics and engineering. These resources are intended to support the Science Capital Teaching Approach by providing contextual links that are local and personal. Well received by teachers, there are a number of barriers presented by the technology as it uses Facebook and Google Maps.
