Social profile of telemedicine service consumers based on a survey of patients of dental clinics in Donetsk

Objective. To determine the social portrait of consumers of teledentistry services using adult residents of Donetsk as an example. Materials and methods. A survey of 384 adult residents of Donetsk (181 men and 203 women, aged 18–79 years, patients of dental clinics, was conducted using a specially designed questionnaire. Results. According to the results obtained, women with a higher level of education, having a child/children, working day shifts or having more than one job are relatively more likely to use remote dental care. In Donetsk, the vast majority of remote dental services are presented in the form of an opportunity to make an appointment with a dentist, much less - online consultation.
