Models for the BRDF of disordered metasurfaces

Abstract

We review our current efforts to develop models for predicting the bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) of disordered metasurfaces and demonstrate novel visual properties not found in biodiversity with low-index nanostructures.
