The article is devoted to the psychological analysis of a sports team's game and the discussion of its outcome, regardless of the result. Special attention is paid to the analysis of a team's unsuccessful performance, as this situation is one of the most stressful in the professional activities of coaches and teams, and requires special tools for constructive analysis. To conduct a psychological analysis of a team's unsuccessful performance, a sports psychologist held a special meeting (or session) with the coach and players, using the «Six Thinking Hats» method. The proposed method is based on the world-renowned methodology of the British psychologist, an expert in creative thinking and the author of the concept of «Six Thinking Hats», Edward de Bono. The «Six Thinking Hats in Sports» method helps to sort everything out and look at the game from six different angles through the transition from facts, emotions to ideas and further plans of the sports team.
