Use of a complex of B vitamins and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for the relief and control of pain syndrome in osteoarthritis

The article provides an overview of clinical studies on the use of vitamin B1, B6, B12 complex in combination with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for osteoarthritis. Most studies have shown that the combined use of a complex of vitamins B1, B6, B12 and NSAIDs enhances the analgesic effect, increases the threshold of pain sensitivity and reduces pain severity more effectively on the visual analog pain scale than NSAID monotherapy.
