Abstract

MAUD was rarely administered during hospitalization, representing a critical missed opportunity for intervention. While effect estimates favored treated patients, limited sample size precluded definitive conclusions. Efforts to improve implementation of AUD pharmacotherapy in inpatient settings are warranted.
