Development of a risk assessment system and planning of measures to improve safety during the operation of logging equipment in certified forests

The article addresses the pressing issue of occupational safety during the operation of logging equipment in certified forests. It analyzes existing approaches to risk assessment and safety management, identifying their strengths and weaknesses in the context of certified forest management. A structure for a comprehensive risk assessment and planning system is proposed, including hazard identification, risk assessment, development and implementation of measures, monitoring, and control. The necessity of integrating the system with FSC requirements is substantiated. Practical recommendations for system implementation are presented, including personnel training, adaptation to the enterprise, and the creation of motivation for safe work practices. The significance of the development for improving occupational safety, sustainable forest management, and the competitiveness of enterprises is emphasized.
