Study on the Effect of Strong Electromagnetic Field on Oil Content of Isochrysis galbana

In this experiment, the growth of Isochrysis galbana 8701(IG8701) was regulated by the combination of high voltage electrostatic field and strong magnetic field, and the changes of biomass, oil content and acetyl-CoA carboxylase activity were detected. The results showed that during the 9-day measurement period, the biomass, lipid content and acetyl-CoA carboxylase were significantly increased compared with the control group. Among them, the biomass increased by 10–25 %, the lipid content increased by 10–85 %, and the acetyl-CoA carboxylase activity increased by 8–65 %. The change trend of acetyl-CoA carboxylase activity was positively correlated with the change trend of lipid content in microalgae. Therefore, the combined treatment of high-voltage electrostatic field and strong magnetic field significantly increased the activity of acetyl-CoA carboxylase in IG8701, and promoted the accumulation of biomass and lipid content. It provides new methods and ideas for improving the biomass and lipid content of microalgae in the industrial production of microalgae.
