Abstract:This report presents an innovation in Energy Storage – Achieving 24% - 30% System-Level Gains with Non-Thermal Activation, which improves battery performance without altering cell chemistry, materials, or manufacturing processes. The findings are based on reproducible results obtained from multiple independent datasets, chemistries, and measurement domains, with detailed validation confirming the reliability of the observed effects.Validated performance improvements include:Cell-level improvements: Reproducible gains ranging from high single-digit to low double-digit percentages, depending on chemistry and operational conditions, with a baseline gain of 10%.System-level improvements: When multiple validated optimization layers are combined under controlled conditions, gains of ≥30% can be achieved, with a conservative lower bound of 24%.The validated improvements manifest in key kinetic properties such as capacity and resistance under load, without measurable temperature rise and without negative safety implications.This approach offers industrially relevant benefits without the need for new materials or chemistries, and can be implemented directly without significant changes to manufacturing processes.
