Introduction: The objective of this study was to analyze the scientific output of the journal Realidad Empresarial between 2016 and 2025, in order to evaluate its visibility and impact after nine years of uninterrupted publication. Methods: An evaluative bibliometric analysis was carried out using specialized tools such as VOSviewer, Datawrapper, ObservableHQ, and OpenAlex, focusing on 12 bibliometric indicators from 22 issues and 199 published articles. The main source of data was the OpenAlex query API. The results showed a significant increase in the number of citations received by the journal's articles over time, reflecting a growth in its impact and visibility within the academic community. Trends were identified in the most researched subject areas, and the authors with the greatest influence in the journal were highlighted. Likewise, certain articles achieved a higher impact, showing that some topics have greater resonance among researchers. The discussion compares these findings with the current context of the academic field, noting that the increase in citations not only values editorial quality, but also the journal's ability to address topics that are relevant and current to the research community. The importance of strengthening dissemination, promotion, and editorial quality strategies to expand its reach and enhance its impact was emphasized. In conclusion, Realidad Empresarial has established itself as a relevant publication that contributes to the development of knowledge in its field. This analysis offers a clear view of its evolution and proposals to improve its impact, such as fostering international collaborations and diversifying future topics, providing a better understanding of its role in scientific dissemination and editorial evaluation.
