A freeze‐dried platelet‐derived hemostatic agent improves hemostasis in patients with severe thrombocytopenia before and after standard platelet transfusion: Studies ex vivo in the total thrombus‐formation analysis system 01

FPH significantly improved hemostasis in ex vivo samples from thrombocytopenic patients, both before and after PC transfusion, as measured by T-TAS 01. The findings support the potential role of T-TAS 01 in evaluating not only conventional platelet transfusions but also emerging platelet substitutes, such as FPH, for clinical use.
