Artificial Intelligence in the Sphere of Education in Russia: Status, Problems, Prospects

The relevance of the study is due to the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and their increasing influence on the education system. The introduction of AI opens up new opportunities for personalized learning, automating administrative processes, and increasing the effectiveness of educational programs. However, in Russia this process faces a number of institutional, technical and ethical challenges that require a comprehensive analysis. The purpose of this work is to study the current state, problems and prospects of using AI in Russian education. The study addresses the following tasks: identifying key areas of AI use, analyzing the regulatory framework, identifying the advantages and disadvantages of implementation, as well as developing recommendations for the use of AI in the education system. The main results of the study indicate that AI is actively used in the sphere of education in adaptive learning, working with texts, automating the checking of work and analyzing academic performance. At the same time, problems such as insufficient digital infrastructure, a shortage of qualified personnel and ethical risks associated with the processing of personal data have been identified. Development prospects up to 2030 include deeper integration of AI into state educational programs, expanded use of predictive analytics, and the development of domestic EdTech solutions.
