MultiModX This repository contains a full data sample for the execution of the Strategic (planning of air, rain and multimodal networks) and Pre-Tactical (replanning of operations to deal with disruptions) of the MultiModX model. MultiModX is a SESAR H2020 project (https://multimodx.eu/): The goal of MultiModX is to develop a set of innovative multimodal solutions and decision support tools for the coordinated planning and management of multimodal transport networks. MultiModX develops a multimodal modelling and evaluation framework, including a set of key performance areas and indicators, that enable a comprehensive characterisation of the impact of multimodal transport systems and multimodal solutions for a range of stakeholders. MultiModX is composed of: A Multimodal performance framework and a set of tools for the evaluation of planned, replanned and operated air-rail multimodal networks. A scheduler optimiser to better coordinate air-rail operations. A disruption manager to replan air and rail operations in the event of significant disruptions. Code The evaluators are released as open-source (GPL license) in https://github.com/UoW-ATM/MultiModX. See https://uow-atm.github.io/MultiModX/ for the technical documentation. Data sample This dataset contains a fully working example for the execution of the Strategic and Pre-Tactical evaluator. The example is limited to the demand between three regions in Spain (NUTS regions ES300, ES511 and ES613) and between those regions and Germany (ED**). For strategic operations planning, three policy packages (PP00, PP10, and PP20) are provided, each with its associated TOML file. For the replanning of operations, it considers a disruption involving the closure of a rail station and the cancellation of some flights, with two levels of passenger replanning flexibility. See info.txt for more details. The dataset also contains the output of running the pipelines. To execute it, it should be placed inside a data folder within the repository.
